I made this piece in the same breath of emotion that I created “Don’t Get Comfortable / tiny illusions”. After seeing how the pandemic created a mass emotional upheaval, this was my offering. I moved across the country at the crux of the pandemic, right after graduating, to pursue a Land Art dream job. Having no sense of the future day to day, and being completely isolated, my dreams felt trapped and confined, surrounded by beauty and potential that had no where to go. The color and reflections represent all the glimmers of possibility trying to escape.
