Don't Get Comfortable was made during the crux of the pandemic.
After moving across the country during a time of serious road blocks and isolation. I found myself using a lawn chair daily as an emotional outlet, sitting and resting, looking at the sky. And although there were chapters of my life filled with beauty at this time, I could not rest, find peace, or any sense of stability. Everything felt impossible.
The color of the chair appears alluring and inviting, but when you get up close you see that it’s covered in barbed wire, and any potential for comfort is unattainable.
