California Ecological Restoration Projects
Based in California, I worked on various ecological field projects focused on habitat restoration and land management across coastal sites, inland forest, and rigid mountain peaks. Many of these projects took place restoring landscapes that were devastated by wildfires along the Pacific Crest Trail.
Labor included vegetation removal for firelines, trail building, site preparation, erosion control, and various habitat support in sensitive ecological zones. Much of the work involved physically rebuilding or stabilizing disturbed ground, working directly with soil, slope, and plant systems as part of ongoing conservation efforts across multiple sites.
-Sites include:
The PCT, the San Jacinto Mountains, El Dorado National Forest, East Bay trails, & Emerald Bay State Park.
